  In a sense, it is a good thing that they feel compelled to continually print this dreck, virtually every month now.

  It indicates that they continue to receive reports that many many MANY JWs are completely and utterly ignoring the "loving counsel" to shun their own families.

  This.

  With the 100th anniversary of their mythological invisible parousia and inactive reign over nothing nonsense rapidly drawing to a close, the Watchtower cult mind-control leaders are running scared as hell. More and more JW's have had a gutsful and are ignoring the sick anti-family bullshit and doing whatever they want. The organisation is haemorraghing badly and it's going to get much worse from 2015 onward.

  You have to admit this is an absolutely brilliant propaganda piece by the Society, although to be honest, there are loads of orthodox Christian groups who meet in secret just like this in many countries. In China, for example (Google it...there is a massive Chinese underground Christian world).

  A picture paints a thousand words and there's just so much classic JW cultish manipulation in this image: massive persecution complex (harking back to WW2 underground JWs); the end must be really really near now; remain in the organisation to survive; be very afraid of the future, no joy whatsoever on their faces.

  It looks like a tornado bunker neighbourhood hunkerdown rather than a happy Christian group (fear written all over their faces - the little girl's fearful expression is quite deliberate).

  To any neutral observer, this photo is basically a drop dead admission that it's fear-based doomsday cult. It's like they have all gathered in the basement because the US has just declared Marshall Law and JW's have been outlawed.

  The Russian's are on to them for what they are (mind-control, brain-washing, manipulative cult) and this just reinforces the Russki's reasons for illegalising them.

  he is a relatively young man who is in the adventist church.. he is smart, personable and intellectually honest.. he comes from a balanced attitude without rancor.. he is very very good at debunking the watchtower.

  Wrong, wrong, wrong. It is utterly dumb and counter-productive for obvious reasons you overlook:

  • Anyone who checks the website out after accepting the tract will also do a google search on JW's and check apostate websites. 'Worldings' are not stupid enough to only check out some pseudo-religious cult's website without flipping the coin and seeing the other side on the internet.
  • It's dumb because it cheapens the message. JW's are not actually giving a 'witness' by doing this. They are reduced to mere leaflet distributors, akin to junk-mail letterbox distributors.
  • By so undermining the JW's door-to-door preaching 'ministry' and putting so much emphasis on their website, the leadership undermines the motivation of JW's to bother giving a future genuine verbal 'witness' at door-steps. In the minds of many JW's, especially the already high percentage of JW's who just go through the motions putting in as little effort possible, perceiving themselves as a kind of glorified magazine salesman on behalf of the organisation, this will just be the final nail in the coffin. What is the point of going 'door-to-door' anymore and trying to give a proper scriptural witness when the public can just visit JW.ORG and get all the 'content' they need there?

  E-Watchman? Thoughts?

  i stumbled upon the website e-watchman today and while i didn't have time to read over everything i found this thoughts so far quite interesting.

  recently when reading matthew i can't help but feel that jesus warnings about the pharisees also applied to the gb and elders.

  actually everytime jesus brought them up i realized how similar they are.

  I feel very ambivalent about him. He does a marvellous job of brilliantly tearing apart so many false JW's interpretations and creeds (mostly eschatalogical), but unfortunately he is still hopelessly trapped in the erroneous view that JW's are the 'true religion' and rigorously defends them in that respect.

  His website can be very confusing for newbies, as he ruthlessly escoriates the organisation on one hand while at the same time outspokenly defending it. Quite schizophrenic really.

  Well if by 'God' you mean the traditional Biblical 'God', then by his own word the Bible he is self-condemned as sinful, since James 4:17 makes it very clear that if you know how to do something good but don't do it, you have sinned.

  And if God is our 'heavenly father' as the new testament asserts, what sort of father is 'indifferent' to his children's suffering, agony, dying?

  Even Jesus at Matthew 7:11 said that an 'evil' father still gives good things to his children, yet we find that our so-called 'heavenly father' Biblical God is totally aloof and indifferent and gives nothing to stop the horrendous suffering and deaths of so many, especially the morally innocent such as little children.

  So such an 'indifferent' New Testament heavenly 'father' must be morally worse than an ordinary human 'father'.

  Thus, whatever this 'God' is that might exist, it obviously has no sense of normal morality that we can even remotely comprehend or relate to.

  Therefore, such a 'God' is not worthy of our attention, it is irrelevant.

  consenting male adults is their choice, how can a five-year old boy give his choice to have sex with a forty-five year old male?

  you hear things as time passes by, i had the chance to listen to a legal professional say that if gay marrige was approved pedophiles would be banging at the door to get recognized as a social norm.

  i know denial is a real bitch to deal with and i'm sure this bunch of over the hill gang will have a hard time doing google searches and they are probably not sure where to look but they oughta get some one to show them how to find all this information, this willful ignorance is really hurting them, and reality can come crashing in more horrible ways the longer the denial exist and is hiding valuable information you really need before you proceed to make better decisions for your company and the direction you want it to go..
